National Action Network Las Vegas Chapter! We are proud
to have a chapter in the Las Vegas community. NAN has a
long, active history in community activism and
empowerment. This history has made the National Action
Network the number one grassroots activist organization
in the country.
The
National Action Network is a civil and human rights
organization. The National Action Network comes in the
tradition of the great civil and human rights
organizations that have preceded us: The United Negro
Improvement Association, the southern Christian
Leadership Conference, the Student Nonviolent
Coordinating Committee and Operation Push/Rainbow
Coalition. As such, the National Action Network works
toward the upliftment of all people particularly the
poor, the working class and people of color.
